Bus Routes
The following bus routes pass within walking distance of the surgery:
50 From the Blessington Rd (N81), down to the Citywest Shopping Centre
65B From the Blessington Rd (N81), down to the Citywest Shopping Centre
69 From Rathcoole and Saggart, to Garter Lane (get off at Citywest Hotel)
311 From Newcastle (VillageLink), to Garter Lane (get off at Citywest Hotel)
Luas Line
The new Citywest Luas line extension (www.luas.ie/routes/) passes along Fortunestown Lane. Alight at the terminus (Saggart), and you will have a five minute walk to the surgery. Come back along Fortunestown Lane (i.e. walk back beside the Luas lines towards the Citywest Shopping Centre). Take the first left turn (at the traffic lights) – there are construction works for the Cuil Dúin housing estate going on at the entrance to this road. Walk around to the second car park (i.e. past the main entrance to the TLC nursing home) and the surgery is down the steps in front of you.

Flu vaccine and COVID booster clinics are now running. Please contact the surgery to book in.
CONSULTATIONS
We are extremely busy but we want to see you. If you are concerned about your symptoms or need a review, please book the next available appointment with the GP. Please only ask for a same day appointment if you have urgent symptoms that cannot wait.

New Patients: we currently have no capacity to take on new patients. We are prioritising existing patients and those with no local GP. Applicants will be placed on a waiting list and taken on as space allows. We cannot take on patients who already have a GP in the area
Repeat Prescriptions
There is a 48 hour turnaround for repeat prescriptions, letters etc. More complicated forms will take longer. An emergency 7 day supply of medication can usually be obtained from the pharmacy if needed.
TLC-DOC - We are founder members of the GP cooperative that opened in November 2011, based in Tallaght Cross West, just outside Tallaght Hospital. This service provides GP appointments for urgent medical problems from 6-10pm Mon - Fri, and 10am-6pm on Sat / Sun / Public Holidays.
